Restaurants such as Dewey Destin's Harborside and Brotula's Seafood House are just 0.5 km away. The property is 1 km from Destin Harbor and 6 km from Henderson Beach State Park. The nearest public beach is a 6 km drive. Destin Fort Walton Beach Airport is 24 km (24 km) away, but no airport shuttle is available. The location is well-suited for visitors without a car, as many attractions and dining options are within walking distance, and free on-site parking is available for those arriving by car.

All guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, a satellite TV, microwave, small refrigerator, and ironing facilities. Private bathrooms with free toiletries and a safety deposit box are provided. Room options include smoking and non-smoking types. The property offers motel-style exterior room access. Some rooms overlook the pool area, providing quieter options away from the street. The rooms are generally spacious but the overall property is older; recent renovations include updated decor and furniture. The comfortable Serta beds and quiet curtains have been noted as positive features. Standard amenities include daily housekeeping (additional charge for extra services), laundry facilities, and a 24-hour front desk. Accessible rooms with roll-in showers are available upon request, including ground-floor options for those with mobility concerns.

The hotel offers a complimentary continental breakfast each morning, which includes waffles (made from a waffle maker), biscuits, muffins, danishes, apples, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, tea, and juice. Hot items such as sausage and gravy are sometimes available but not always. Coffee is available throughout the day in the lobby. For evenings and a wider variety, guests can walk across the street to Harborwalk Village where dozens of restaurants, seafood houses, pizzerias, and bars are within a 5-minute walk, including Dewey Destin's Harborside, Brotula's Seafood House, and AJ's Seafood & Oyster Bar. The hotel does not operate its own restaurant.

The outdoor swimming pool is the primary leisure facility, open all year. The pool area is well-maintained with plenty of tables, chairs, and lounge seating under umbrellas and a covered patio. Towels are provided for pool use. There is no spa or wellness centre on site. The pool area offers a relaxing space after a day at the beach or exploring the boardwalk. The surrounding area includes many recreational activities such as boat tours, fishing charters, and water sports at the nearby harbor.
