It's about a 20-minute walk (0.8 mi) to the restaurants and shops of Las Olas, and a 30-minute walk (1.6 mi) to Fort Lauderdale Beach. The property itself overlooks a marina with boats. For supplies, a 7-Eleven is about 2 km away; the nearest large supermarket (Publix) is 4 km. The airport is 9 km (13 minutes by car), and Port Everglades is 9 km (10-25 minutes by car). Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are the recommended transport options. The walk back from Las Olas at night is along a darker stretch with few street lights. A free ride-share service (Circuit) is available in the area.

The property offers a variety of units: deluxe apartments and rooms with garden or water views, fully equipped kitchens (full-size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, cookware) in apartments, and kitchenettes (microwave, coffee maker, toaster, small refrigerator) in smaller rooms. Selected apartments include en-suite washer/dryer. All units have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. Beds are queen or king; rollaway beds can be added for $20 per day (subject to availability). Some rooms have slatted bathroom doors with limited privacy, and no bathroom fan. All apartments and rooms include a kitchen or kitchenette with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and refrigerator; full kitchens also have a stove, oven, and dishwasher. The outdoor barbecue grill is available for cooking. A starter pack of coffee is provided. For dining out, Las Olas Boulevard (0.8 mi walk) offers numerous restaurants and bars. The heated outdoor swimming pool is open all year and maintained at a comfortable temperature. It sits right on the canal with views of passing boats. The pool area includes loungers, a gazebo, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off. The lush garden has a barbecue grill and outdoor dining tables. There is no gym or spa on site; day passes to nearby gyms (about $21/day, $60/week) can be purchased within 2 km's drive.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. Free private parking is available on site with one spot per room, no reservation needed. Laundry service costs $1 per day for use of the on-site washer and dryer.
