The property is centrally located one block from 5th Avenue and two blocks from the beach. The ADO bus station is a few minutes on foot, making arrivals from Cancún or Tulum straightforward. The Cozumel ferry terminal is within walking distance for day trips. Numerous restaurants, bars, and shops surround the hostel, and the 24/7 local market directly opposite provides cheap food and essentials. Despite the central position, certain interior rooms and the rooftop remain quieter than street-facing rooms. The location is best explored on foot; a car is not needed for the main attractions. Cozumel International Airport is 35 km away.

Private double and triple rooms are available with air-conditioning, a minibar, wardrobe, dressing area, and a private bathroom with shower. Some private rooms have a seating area. Dormitories have shared bathrooms and include air-conditioning, lockers, and in some cases a fan. Bed linens are provided in all rooms; towels are supplied in private rooms only (a deposit is needed for towels in dorms). Noise can be an issue in rooms near reception or facing the street, so light sleepers may prefer an interior room. The property is older and rooms may appear basic compared to photos, with potential for humidity, dated fixtures, and limited power outlets near beds. Private rooms offer better value for those prioritizing privacy and cleanliness.

The complimentary breakfast consists of toast, margarine, jam, Nutella, cereals, milk, coffee, tea, juice, and sometimes fruit. It is served on the pleasant rooftop terrace. For early departures before 08:00, breakfast cannot be provided in advance. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but the hostel is surrounded by a wide variety of eateries within a 2-minute walk, including taquerias, Italian, and Mexican street food options. The shared kitchen is available for self-catering with basic equipment.

The hostel has no pool, spa, or fitness facilities. The main leisure space is the rooftop terrace with plants, hammocks, and tables where guests can socialize, have breakfast, or work. A barbecue area is available. Activities such as diving, snorkelling, and water park visits can be arranged off-site for an additional charge.
