WELCOME HOSTEL, Malaga

The hostel is in the residential Churriana district, about 5-10 minutes by taxi from the airport. A taxi costs around 10-15 €; there is no direct public transport to the terminal, so pre-book a ride. The nearest beach, Campo de Golf Beach, is 3 km away, and attractions such as the Automobile and Fashion Museum and Benalmádena Marina are 10 km. Within a short walk you will find Taperia El Encuentro (0.5 km) and a pizzeria (0.5 km). Free street parking is available for those arriving by car. Despite the airport proximity, the area is quiet at night.

The hostel offers ground-floor private rooms: double rooms with one double bed, and quadruple rooms with four single beds. All rooms include air conditioning, heating, a wardrobe, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Each room has a small kitchenette for basic meal preparation. Dormitory beds come with privacy curtains, reading lights, charging points, and large lockers that fit a suitcase. A female-only dormitory is available. Some rooms may experience noise from the street or common areas due to thin walls; light sleepers may prefer inner rooms. Dampness and mold have been observed in some rooms, so check the room upon arrival. Daily housekeeping is included.

The hostel provides a well-equipped shared kitchen with a large fridge, selection of coffee and teas, and basic cooking utensils. Guests can prepare their own meals and store food. For dining out, Taperia El Encuentro is 300 meters away and Restaurante Pizzeria Debora is 500 meters. A Lidl supermarket is nearby for groceries. No breakfast or restaurant service is offered on-site.

Outdoor leisure options include Campo de Golf Beach, 3 km from the hostel, suitable for a day by the sea. A golf course is available within 3 km (additional charge). The hostel itself has no pool, spa, or gym; leisure activities are self-organized.
