Miami International Airport is 16 km away. Public parking is available at an hourly rate in nearby garages or metered street spots, and valet parking costs $35 plus tax per day. Due to the historic area, on-site parking is not available. The neighbourhood is walkable to most attractions, bars, and restaurants, making a car optional for many stays.

Room types are one king bed or two double beds, with private bathrooms that include walk-in showers and hairdryers. Rooms have a minifridge, safe, iPod docking station, air conditioning, heating, and parquet floors. Rooms are compact; luggage may need to be stored under the bed. Furniture includes a small metal chair and a few hangers. Bed type is not guaranteed and is assigned at check-in based on availability. Some rooms may have limited counter space in the bathroom. Road-facing rooms can experience street noise, while rooms near the lobby bar may also pick up sound from the bar. The air conditioning unit can be loud in some rooms.

Breakfast is not offered, but there are many dining options within a short walk. The daily happy hour is a free signature cocktail at Maxine's Bistro & Bar at the sister Catalina Hotel.
