Hotel Details

Location

In the heart of historic Prague, 2 minutes from the Astronomical Clock and 200 metres from Old Town Square. All major sights are within walking distance.
The hostel sits on a quiet side street directly off Old Town Square, placing you steps from the Astronomical Clock, the Powder Tower, and endless restaurants and bars. Charles Bridge is a 10-minute walk away, Prague Castle is 2 km on foot, and the airport is 13 km (25 minutes by taxi or public transport). The nearest metro station (Staroměstská) is a 5-minute walk, making it easy to reach other neighbourhoods. Despite the central location, the street is relatively quiet at night, though weekend noise from nearby bars can be audible in some rooms.

Dining

No restaurant on site, but a fully equipped shared kitchen is available 24/7. The surrounding area is packed with dining options.
The shared kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, cookware, utensils, and a Nespresso machine (free capsules). Each dorm or apartment also has its own small kitchenette with a kettle, microwave, and fridge. You can prepare full meals and store food in labelled fridge space. For eating out, dozens of restaurants, cafés, and fast-food spots are within a 2-minute walk - from traditional Czech taverns (U Supa, 300 m) to international chains (Hard Rock Cafe, 500 m) and a jazz club (AghaRTA, 300 m). Breakfast is not served, but you can buy groceries at nearby shops (Billa, 5 minutes) and eat in the communal dining area.

Amenities

Free WiFi, daily housekeeping, luggage storage, lockers, shared kitchen and lounge. No parking, no pets, no lift.
WiFi is free and reliable throughout. Daily housekeeping keeps common areas and bathrooms clean. Luggage can be stored free from 10:00 to 20:00 in a secure area behind the reception desk. Each bed has an individual locker (key provided at check-in). A shared lounge with TV, sofas, and a dining table is available. Reception staff can provide local tips and maps, and QR codes with recommendations are posted. Check-in is contactless after 20:00 with a pre-arranged code. No parking is available - the property is pedestrian-friendly and public transport is nearby. No pets, no smoking. Laundry is not on site but two laundromats are within a 10-minute walk (details at reception).

  • “Very central, comfy and private beds (love the curtain, I prefer the slight privacy for sleeping), lock on the drawer (which was very large, I was nearly fully unpacked in the drawer), accessible schuko standard plugs, people were lovely as well (people I shared hostel with as well as the staff), free wi-fi which was fast enough to use, kitchen facilities were good too (including nespresso machine, this seems to be very popular in Czech Republic)”

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Book a private apartment if you prefer a private bathroom and quieter space.

  • 02

Use the free luggage storage at reception (open 10:00-20:00) if you arrive before check-in or need to stay after checkout.

  • 03

Plan to use the self-catering kitchen for meals-there are many nearby restaurants but no on-site dining.

  • 04

Request a self-check-in code in advance if you arrive after 20:00.
