Location

In the heart of historic Prague, 2 minutes from the Astronomical Clock and 200 metres from Old Town Square. All major sights are within walking distance.
The hostel sits on a quiet side street directly off Old Town Square, placing you steps from the Astronomical Clock, the Powder Tower, and endless restaurants and bars. Charles Bridge is a 10-minute walk away, Prague Castle is 2 km on foot, and the airport is 13 km (25 minutes by taxi or public transport). The nearest metro station (Staroměstská) is a 5-minute walk, making it easy to reach other neighbourhoods. Despite the central location, the street is relatively quiet at night, though weekend noise from nearby bars can be audible in some rooms.

Accommodation

Mixed-gender and female-only dorms, private rooms, and two apartments. All have shared or private bathrooms, kitchenettes, free WiFi, and lockable storage.
Dormitories sleep 6-10 people in sturdy metal bunks with privacy curtains, personal reading lights, power sockets, and a large lockable drawer under the bed (big enough for a cabin-size suitcase). Towels are provided free. The apartments (Sir Nicholas Winton and Marie Schmolková) have a private bathroom, a kitchenette with stove and refrigerator, and a separate living area with a sofa bed. Private rooms come with a shared bathroom (3 rooms share one bathroom) or a private bathroom in the apartments. All rooms include a desk, seating area, heating, and floor heating in bathrooms. Parquet floors are present but can creak, which may be noticeable in dorms. No air conditioning; fans are available in some rooms. Windows open to the street or quiet courtyard. Room cleanliness is consistently praised, though a few reports note occasional issues in high-use dorms.

No restaurant on site, but a fully equipped shared kitchen is available 24/7. The surrounding area is packed with dining options.
The shared kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, cookware, utensils, and a Nespresso machine (free capsules). Each dorm or apartment also has its own small kitchenette with a kettle, microwave, and fridge. You can prepare full meals and store food in labelled fridge space. For eating out, dozens of restaurants, cafés, and fast-food spots are within a 2-minute walk - from traditional Czech taverns (U Supa, 300 m) to international chains (Hard Rock Cafe, 500 m) and a jazz club (AghaRTA, 300 m). Breakfast is not served, but you can buy groceries at nearby shops (Billa, 5 minutes) and eat in the communal dining area.
