WS NOTRE-DAME - JUSSIEU, Paris

WS Notre-Dame - Jussieu is located in the heart of Paris, with Luxembourg Gardens 14 minutes away on foot and Notre Dame Cathedral a similar 14-minute walk. Sainte-Chapelle is 1 km from the property, while the Louvre Museum is 3 km away by foot or a short metro ride. The surrounding area is lively and secure, with a supermarket, bakeries, cafes, and a range of restaurants within a 2-minute walk. The metro station just across the street means the Eiffel Tower, Marais, and Saint Germain are all easily reachable without a car. A secured public parking garage is a 5-minute walk away for those arriving by car. The neighbourhood is well served by rental bicycles and offers easy access to the Seine riverbanks.

Each studio includes a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. The kitchenette comes with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, and tea/coffee-making facilities, making self-catering straightforward. Rooms are on the ground floor and are accessed via a secure inner courtyard. The space is small - typically suited for one person or a couple without large luggage. The bed is firm and comfortable, though some units have a change in floor level (a step) between the entrance and the living area, which can be a tripping hazard in the dark. Windows overlook the courtyard, which keeps street noise low, but the building sits above the metro line and vibrations from passing trains are audible, especially in the bathroom. An overhead ceiling fan and a standing fan are provided; the older building is well-insulated so rooms stay relatively cool, even during warm weather. Heating is electric, and some units have a portable heater that runs on a timer.

WS Notre-Dame - Jussieu does not offer a pool, spa, gym, or sauna. However, Luxembourg Gardens is a 14-minute walk away, offering extensive green space for jogging or relaxing. The Jardin des Plantes and the Grande Galerie de l'Évolution are also within a 10-minute walk. An ice-skating rink and boating are available in the surroundings during the appropriate seasons. The Seine riverbanks, a few minutes' walk from the property, provide a scenic route for walking or cycling.
