WYNDHAM GARDEN TAMPA FAIRGROUNDS/CASINO, Tampa

The hotel sits directly opposite the Florida State Fairgrounds and MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, making it ideal for concert or event attendees. Seminole Hard Rock Casino is a 3-minute Uber ride away. The interstate is easily accessible, though road noise can reach rooms facing the street. Clearwater and St. Petersburg beaches are about a 35-minute drive. For port cruises, Tampa Port is roughly 15 minutes by car. A Wawa convenience store is next door for basic supplies.

Rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained. Each unit includes a kitchenette with a refrigerator, tea and coffee maker, minibar, and a dining area. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a seating area, and an in-room computer plus iPad. Suites and triple/family rooms offer a private pool as a standout feature. Bed configurations include 1 or 2 beds depending on room type. Some rooms have walk-in showers and baths. Thin walls may allow noise from corridors and neighbouring rooms, so light sleepers should request a quieter location away from the mechanical room or road. The hotel is newer but some reports note inconsistent housekeeping, stained bedding, and limited towel provision-request daily servicing to avoid issues.

The hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast. A small café near the lobby sells coffee, danishes, and light snacks during morning hours, with additional snack-bar items and beverages available 24 hours from the lobby shop. A vending area also sells packaged food and drinks at premium prices. For a fuller meal, there are limited sit-down dining options within walking distance; a Wawa next door offers quick takeaway. Guests who prefer a hot breakfast or a wider selection may choose to eat off-site before returning.

The outdoor swimming pool is open all year and is described as clean and relaxing, with a pleasant area for lounging. Towels for the pool may not be available at the poolside-ask for them at the front desk. The fitness centre contains lightweight, basic equipment (treadmills, elliptical, recumbent bike) that may not suit serious training. No spa, sauna, jacuzzi, or additional leisure facilities are present on-site.
