Venice Santa Lucia train station is a 20-minute walk. The immediate area is filled with local bars, restaurants, and wine bars (bacari). Cafés and a supermarket are nearby. The property entrance faces the historic Ponte Chiodo bridge, often photographed. Though no parking exists and access involves crossing a small bridge, most major sights are comfortably walkable.

Breakfast is included and served from approximately 08:30 to 10:30 in a lovely courtyard garden or the breakfast room. The buffet includes bread rolls, croissants, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, cereal, and pastries. Cappuccino and other coffee drinks are made to order.
