ACTA ANTIBES, Barcelona

The hotel sits in a safe, well-connected residential area, placing major attractions within comfortable walking distance. Sagrada Familia is 10 minutes away on foot, while Gaudí's Casa Batlló and La Pedrera are around 20 minutes (1.5-2 km). Arc de Triomf is a 13-minute walk. Plaza de Catalunya and Las Ramblas are just over 1 km from the hotel. Monumental metro station (L2) is 200-300 metres away, providing direct access to the city centre and links to the airport via Aerobus to Plaça Universitat. The cruise terminal is about 30 minutes by taxi. The neighbourhood offers a range of restaurants, supermarkets (Lidl, Aldi), and bakeries along the main streets, while the surrounding area remains quiet at night.

Rooms have a practical, no-frills design with tiled floors. Double rooms come with a queen-size bed (150x200 cm). Triple rooms, at 28 m2, offer a bath with shower and bidet. Quadruple rooms are 32 m2 and split into two separate rooms connected by a corridor, ideal for families or groups needing extra privacy. The walls between rooms are thin, and doors must be slammed to close, so internal noise can be an issue - rooms facing the inner courtyard are quieter. There are no balconies, minibars, or kettles in rooms, though a kettle can be requested at reception subject to availability. Windows in some rooms face a brick wall, limiting natural light. Daily housekeeping is included; additional laundry and ironing services are available for a fee. A hairdryer is provided in the bathroom.

The hotel does not have a spa, swimming pool, or gym. For leisure activities, bicycle rental is available at the hotel for €16 per day, and reception staff can recommend cycling routes. The surrounding area provides easy access to walking tours and city attractions. The neighbourhood has several parks nearby, including a pirate-ship-themed playground suitable for children.

The 24-hour front desk can assist with late arrivals, provide concierge services, and arrange taxis to the cruise terminal (shuttle not available). Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the hotel, though connectivity can be weak on upper floors - a wired computer is available in the lobby. Free luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. The meeting room on the second floor accommodates up to 12 people and includes fax/photocopying services (free). A lift serves all floors. The property is wheelchair accessible, but guests requiring an adapted bathroom should contact the hotel in advance. Laundry, dry cleaning, and ironing services are offered for an additional charge. Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, key-card access, and a safety deposit box in each room. Accepted payment methods are American Express, Visa, Diners Club, and MasterCard.
