The hotel is on the edge of the El Born district, putting most major attractions within walking distance - Plaza Catalunya, Barceloneta, the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas are all easily reached on foot. The Aerobus airport stop is at Plaça de Catalunya, making transfers simple. Urquinaona Metro station (300 m) and several bus lines provide further connections across the city. For those arriving by cruise, the port is a 10-15 minute drive and a shuttle can be arranged. A Lidl supermarket and pharmacy are nearby, and numerous shops, bars and restaurants are within metres. The street itself is quiet, though some rooms facing the street may pick up occasional traffic noise.

Room types range from compact Tiny rooms (some with a private terrace) to more spacious Double rooms and a Family Junior Suite with one large double and two single beds. All rooms are soundproofed and air-conditioned, and include a 40-inch Smart TV, safe, minibar, electric kettle, and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony or furnished terrace - worth choosing for outdoor space, as standard rooms have none. The room key card activates the electricity, so leaving it in the slot keeps the air conditioning running during heat waves. While the decor is modern and clean, room sizes vary: Tiny rooms are compact but well-designed, and some Double rooms can feel tight for two people with luggage. Road-facing rooms can be noisier; interior courtyard rooms are quieter. Guests wanting a fridge should note that only Tiny rooms lack one.

Breakfast is served at Yurbban Passage, the sister hotel right next door, offering a buffet with local cheeses, cold cuts, pastries, fresh fruit, and hot dishes cooked to order (eggs, etc.). The spread is generous and of good quality. For other meals, the hotel itself does not have a restaurant, but there is a bar on site and the rooftop bar (open seasonally) serves drinks with panoramic views. The rooftop terrace features an outdoor swimming pool (non-heated, open all year, 10:00-00:00) with loungers and a pool bar that serves drinks during warmer months. The 360-degree view of Barcelona is a highlight, especially at sunset. The pool is relatively small and shallow (80 cm), more suitable for cooling off than lap swimming. The fitness centre is free to use and equipped with basic cardio and strength equipment. Bicycle rental is free, making it easy to explore nearby Ciutadella Park or the beach (about a 30-minute walk or short cycle). For relaxation, the hotel also offers a free daily wine-and-cheese hour in the lobby.

The reception is open 24 hours and the staff are consistently described as helpful and friendly, offering local tips and restaurant bookings. Free WiFi is available throughout and the hotel also provides a portable WiFi device for exploring the city.
