AFFITTACAMERE Z&I GUESTHOUSE, Florence

The property is positioned for easy exploration on foot or by public transport. Florence Central Station is within a 10-minute walk, and the tram line (T1.3) from the airport stops a 5-minute walk away, making car-free city access simple. The Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Santa Maria Novella area are all reachable on foot within 10-20 minutes. A wide selection of restaurants, including Haveli Indian and Zushi, are within a 5-minute walk. For those driving, be aware that no on-site parking is available; public parking garages are the closest option.

Accommodation options include private double/twin rooms, one-bedroom apartments with a living room and kitchen, and two-bedroom apartments with a separate living area. All rooms feature a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, bidet, and toiletries, plus a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Rooms are compact and suitable for short stays; the double rooms are best for solo travellers or couples for one night. The larger apartments offer more space, with a kitchen including a stovetop, fridge, and oven. Road-facing rooms can experience street noise; rooms overlooking the internal courtyard are quieter. The apartments with a balcony provide outdoor seating, but the balcony itself is small.

Breakfast is provided as a simple continental option, such as packaged snacks and pastries, rather than a full buffet. The shared kitchen offers a coffee machine, tea, and a small snack tray, available all day. For a more substantial meal, guests can walk to numerous restaurants within a few minutes, including Haveli Indian (0.5 km), Zushi (0.5 km), and Salaam Bombay (0.5 km). The property does not have a restaurant or bar. A fridge is available in some rooms for storing drinks.

WiFi is free and strong throughout, with a speed of 43 Mbps suitable for streaming and video calls. Luggage storage is available both before check-in and after check-out, allowing for hands-free exploration. The property uses a self-check-in system; after 16:00, guests receive a code for a key box. A concierge service is available via WhatsApp for questions and directions. Cleaning is on request only. No on-site parking, no lift, and pets are not allowed. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Maestro, CartaSi, and MasterCard.
