HOTEL ALBERT 1ER PARIS LAFAYETTE, Paris

The hotel sits between the two main northern Paris railway stations, a 3-5 minute walk from Gare du Nord and slightly further from Gare de l'Est. Three metro lines and RER B (direct to Charles de Gaulle Airport and Villepinte) are steps away, plus international services such as Eurostar and Thalys. Sacré-Cœur and Montmartre are a 20-minute walk; the lively Canal Saint-Martin district is within a short stroll. For car travel, public parking is available at Effia Gare du Nord, about five minutes away, though vehicle size should be checked for access. The immediate area has numerous restaurants, bakeries, and a supermarket. The neighbourhood is busy and feels safe during the day; at night the station area can feel less secure, with some street activity, so staying aware is recommended.

Breakfast runs from 06:30 to 10:30 on weekdays and until 11:00 on weekends. The buffet includes coffee, tea, herbal tea, chocolate, milk, plant-based milk, fresh orange juice, grapefruit juice, fruit salad, an assortment of fresh fruits, jams, baguette, farmhouse bread, toast, pastries (croissant, pain au chocolat, pain aux raisins), chocolate and fruit cereals, cornflakes, rolled oats, yoghurts, fromage blanc, apple compote, cheeses, dried fruits, cold cuts, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, and smoked sausage. A gluten-free breakfast is available on request. There is no on-site restaurant for lunch or dinner, but dozens of eateries - including Italian, Indian, Brazilian, and French brasseries - are within a few minutes' walk. The bar/lounge area serves drinks and is open in the evening, though it may close earlier than reception hours.

Wellness facilities are not available. The hotel compensates with a comfortable lounge library on the ground floor, offering a quiet space to relax or work. For leisure, the location provides easy walking access to Montmartre, Sacré-Cœur, Canal Saint-Martin, and numerous museums and theatres within a short metro ride.

The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk with a multilingual team, concierge service, and free luggage storage before check-in and after checkout. All rooms are air-conditioned and the entire property is non-smoking. Daily housekeeping is free; dry cleaning and ironing services are available at an additional charge. A business centre provides fax/photocopying for a fee. The lift is small - it can hold up to 3 people or 2 with small luggage, and stairs are also available. Safety features include CCTV, key card access, a security alarm, smoke detectors, and a free safety deposit box in each room. Credit cards accepted: American Express, Visa, Carte Bleue, JCB, UnionPay, MasterCard. No airport shuttle is provided; the RER B train from Gare du Nord is the recommended option.
