HOTEL AGLI ALBORETTI, Venice

The immediate area is free from the heaviest tourist crowds, yet the Accademia bridge and vaporetto stops provide rapid access to St. Mark's Square (10 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by water bus) and the railway station (line 5.2, about 20 minutes). For airport transfers, the Alilaguna blue line from the Zattere stop is the practical option, as the hotel does not run its own shuttle. The neighbourhood is walkable to numerous restaurants, galleries, and shops, and a convenience store is next door. Despite the central proximity, the street remains calm, and the hotel's garden and rooftop terrace offer quiet retreats.

The breakfast includes a variety of options such as pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, fresh fruit, and eggs, with a choice of coffee. Gluten-free alternatives are available on request. Early departures can be accommodated with a takeaway breakfast pack from the night staff. The attached restaurant offers dinner with Venetian cuisine, well-regarded for its quality. Room service is available for meals and drinks. Fruits and wine/champagne are offered at an additional charge. Numerous casual eateries, pizzerias, and gelato shops are within a 5-minute walk, offering alternatives for lunch or a light dinner.

The rooftop terrace offers panoramic views over the city, suitable for enjoying a drink or a quiet moment. The garden also serves as the breakfast area in good weather. For active leisure, walking around the Dorsoduro district, visiting nearby galleries (Accademia, Guggenheim), or strolling along the Zattere promenade are natural options.

The staff can arrange water taxi bookings for airport departures, and the front desk provides maps and recommendations. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. Daily housekeeping is standard, and turn-down service is sometimes provided. The property is accessible via lift (with minor ground-floor steps) and two superior double rooms are wheelchair accessible with suitable bathrooms. Pets are allowed on request at no extra cost. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Maestro, CartaSi, and MasterCard.
