Waterlooplein metro station is 500 metres distant, and the tram stop for lines 4 and 14 is around the corner. From Schiphol Airport, take a 15-20 minute train to Central Station, then tram 4 or 14 to Rembrandtplein (100 metres from the hotel). Taxi from the airport takes about 25 minutes and costs €50-65. Most central attractions (Anne Frank House, museums, canal cruises) are within a 15-30 minute walk. Note that the area can be lively at night; rooms facing the rear may hear noise from neighbouring bars and restaurants.

All rooms include a private shower, hairdryer, safe, iron board, and tea/coffee facilities. Double beds consist of two single mattresses pushed together that can be separated on request. Some rooms have carpeted floors. Canal-view rooms have double window frames to reduce outside noise; rear-facing rooms may be affected by neighbouring bars. Access is via steep, narrow stairs typical of 17th-century buildings - there is no elevator. Some family rooms are located on the ground floor or below street level. Rooms are not air-conditioned but a fan is provided. Furnishings reflect the building's age; some may appear dated. Free baby cot for children under 2 (linen €10).

Staff can recommend local spots; a short walk leads to Rembrandtplein with many restaurants, bars, and fast-food options. Nearby cafés include options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Examples within 300 metres include Portugalia Tasca (Dutch cuisine), Vapiano (Italian), and various street-food outlets. For a wider selection, the Kalverstraat and Nine Streets shopping areas are a 5-10 minute walk away.
