ANDANTE PRINCESA, Barcelona

The hotel is centrally located in the El Born district, surrounded by narrow streets filled with shops, bars, and restaurants. Jaume I Metro (L4) is a 3-minute walk, providing direct access across the city. Many major sights-the Cathedral, Arc de Triomf, and the beach (20-minute walk)-are within walking distance. For airport transfers, taxis are the most straightforward option. The neighbourhood is lively both day and night, excellent for walkability.

The hotel offers double, twin, triple, and family rooms; some have balconies overlooking the street or inner courtyard. Street-facing rooms provide natural light but may carry street noise when windows are open; inner rooms are quieter but may have limited views. Connecting rooms are available for families. Beds are firm; mattress firmness may not suit all preferences. In-room amenities vary: some include a minibar, coffee machine, safe, and desk. Housekeeping is daily. Note that not all rooms have a refrigerator or kettle. Air conditioning and heating are present but temperature control issues have been reported.

The buffet breakfast includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and hot drinks. It is a basic continental offering. The rooftop bar (pool bar) serves drinks and light snacks. For lunch and dinner, the surrounding area has numerous restaurants and cafés within a short walk.

Services include a 24-hour reception, concierge, tour desk, and free luggage storage (useful for late departures). Daily housekeeping is included; laundry service is available for an additional charge. Safety features: CCTV, smoke alarms, key card access. The property has a lift and facilities for disabled guests. Family rooms and connecting rooms are available. Pets not allowed. Nearest parking: Blue Land Parking on Via Laietana (paid). Accepted payment cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Red 6000, Maestro. The hotel is non-smoking throughout.
