Leidseplein and its nightlife are a 7-minute walk, while Vondelpark is a 5-10 minute stroll. The P.C. Hooftstraat shopping street is about 100 metres away. Tram lines 2 and 12 stop nearby, connecting to Amsterdam Central Station in roughly 15 minutes. Bus 397 from Schiphol Airport stops a 2-minute walk from the hotel, providing a direct and affordable connection. The location offers a safe, well-connected base for exploring the city's cultural highlights.

Rooms range from compact doubles to larger lofts with king or double beds. Small and medium doubles are notably tight, with limited storage and minimal space to open suitcases. Some medium rooms measure around 12-17 m², and triple rooms often include a narrow sofa bed that is more suitable for a child than an adult. Loft rooms offer more space and a small French balcony (non-standable). Many rooms have wooden floors, art on the walls, a work desk, a safe, a kettle, a fan, and a Crosley record player in the loft. A significant number of rooms lack effective air conditioning and rely on small windows and a fan, which can lead to stuffiness, especially in warmer months. Noise from thin walls and heavy hallway doors is a common issue. Basic bathrooms are modern but very compact. Housekeeping is performed every second day.

Breakfast is served as a traditional Dutch buffet including fruit, yoghurts, cereals, bread with toppings (cheese, ham, chicken, sweets, Nutella), boiled eggs, and juices/coffee/tea. The cost is €17 per person when booked in advance or at the hotel. The nearby area offers numerous cafes, bars, and restaurants within a short walk; Leidseplein is 7 minutes away with a wide selection of dining options. The hotel itself does not have a lunch or dinner restaurant.
