APOLLO HOTEL VIENNA, Vienna

The hotel sits on Apollogasse, just off Mariahilfer Straße, Vienna's main shopping boulevard, which offers endless restaurants, shops, and a large mall. The historic city centre is 15-20 minutes away by metro or a pleasant 30-minute walk. The Westbahnhof station provides direct trains to Vienna International Airport (22 km) as well as the S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines U3 and U6. Tram stops and bus routes are within a few metres, making it easy to reach attractions like the Leopold Museum (2 km), Wiener Stadthalle (1 km), and Prater park. For those driving, paid garages are nearby; street parking is limited.

Rooms are available as singles, doubles, twin/doubles, and suites. All feature a walk-in shower, hairdryer, flat-screen satellite TV, tea/coffee maker, and work desk. Soundproofing is effective when windows are closed, but street-facing rooms may experience noise. Some rooms on the top floor (5th and 6th) have sloping ceilings and compact dimensions; those with city views are generally brighter. The air conditioning is individually controllable. Daily housekeeping is provided, though the level of thoroughness may vary between rooms. Luggage storage is available. The hotel's lift provides access to all floors.

The breakfast includes vegetarian and gluten-free choices, along with local specialities and homemade cakes. The selection is basic rather than extensive; hot items are limited to boiled eggs and possibly egg muffins. Filter coffee, tea, and juice are included, but cappuccino, latte, and other speciality coffees incur an extra charge. Breakfast is not included in the room rate and costs €13 per person. For guests who prefer more variety, the surrounding streets offer numerous cafés and bakeries. The hotel also has a coffee shop.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in all areas. The 24-hour front desk can arrange tour bookings, concierge assistance, and taxi orders (airport taxi approx. €30-36). Luggage storage is free until 20:00 on check-out day. Daily housekeeping is standard, but special requests (extra towels/pillows) may require follow-up. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV, key card access, and safety deposit boxes. Bicycle parking is available. A laundromat is nearby for self-service laundry. The hotel does not accept pets and has a strict non-smoking policy throughout.
