The hostel is well placed for exploring the city on foot: Reina Sofía Museum is 500 m away, Prado Museum is a 13-minute walk, and El Retiro Park is 2 km. Atocha train station and metro are within 8 minutes, providing direct access to Madrid-Barajas Airport (15 km). The lively Lavapiés neighbourhood offers numerous bars and restaurants - PRIMADONNA Pizza Bar and Taqueria La Jalapena are 0.5 km away - and Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor are about a 16-minute walk. The area is generally safe and well connected, though some have noted minor street activity after dark; using well-lit main streets is recommended.

Rooms come in various sizes (e.g., 10-bed, 12-bed, 17-bed dorms), including a female-only dormitory option. All beds are basic metal bunk beds - lower beds have very limited headroom, making sitting up uncomfortable, while upper bunks are accessed by ladders. The beds are described as creaking and unstable, moving with even small motions. Privacy curtains are not fitted. Each room has air conditioning and heating, but the AC can be very cold, especially for bunks directly under the unit. There are no bedside lamps, so the main ceiling light must be used at night. Lockers are provided, though they are small and cannot hold a full suitcase. Rooms have electronic locks operated by a code.

The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, a kettle, basic utensils, plates, and a dining table. There is no stove, oven, toaster, or cooking equipment for preparing hot meals. Breakfast is not offered at the hostel. The surrounding Lavapiés neighbourhood has many cafés and restaurants within a 5-minute walk, such as Tapas y Fotos and Bar AUTOMATICO, where guests can purchase meals. Several 24-hour supermarkets are also nearby for buying groceries.

The main leisure facilities are a communal games room, a shared lounge with a TV, and an outdoor terrace. No pool, spa, gym, or other wellness amenities are present. The common area is also used as a workspace and for socialising. The property is adults-only, so no family-oriented leisure activities are provided.
