Boutique Hotel des Arts sits on the Rokin canal, placing most central attractions within easy walking distance: Dam Square and the Royal Palace are 5 minutes away, and the Flower Market is around the corner. The metro line 52 at Rokin station (Spui exit) is right outside the door, offering a one-stop connection to Amsterdam Centraal Station or a direct ride to the RAI and Amsterdam Arena. Tram lines 4, 14, and 24 stop within 100 metres, linking to Museumplein and Anne Frank House. For airport arrivals, take the train to Centraal then the metro or a 10-15 minute walk. The nearest public parking garage is a 2-minute walk at Rokin, with cheaper P+R park-and-ride options a metro ride away.

Rooms are individually styled with old-Dutch touches and parquet floors, renovated in 2023. Canal-view rooms (Double/Twin Canal View, Family Canal View) overlook the Amstel River and Allard Pierson Museum, while rear-facing rooms are quieter and more spacious. Family rooms sleep up to five, with some featuring a loft area with twin beds. Twin attic rooms are on the fourth floor and have sloped ceilings and steep stairs-best suited for agile travellers without heavy luggage. All rooms include a private bathroom with shower, Nespresso machine, tea facilities, flat-screen TV, safe, heating, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms also have a Dyson purifier. Single rooms are compact and may be located near common areas; road-facing rooms can experience some noise, but rear rooms are generally quiet. No air conditioning is available-fans are supplied on request.

The buffet breakfast (€24 per person) includes fresh bread, pastries, cheese, ham, yogurt, eggs, and a coffee machine offering espresso, cappuccino, and latte. Gluten-free options are available if requested before arrival. The Café des Arts, open 24 hours, serves a full bar with beer, wine, cocktails, and both hot and cold beverages, along with snacks. A vending machine for drinks is also available. There is no full restaurant on-site, but the surrounding area has numerous dining options within 300 metres, including De Drie Graefjes and Vlaams Friteshuis Vleminckx.

The hotel offers 24-hour front desk service, daily housekeeping, and luggage storage (though the storage room is one floor below entrance level and accessible only by stairs). Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Five bikes are available for rent. A gift shop sells Dutch souvenirs, Fazer chocolate, and Moomin and Pippi products.
