ASPASIOS POBLE NOU APARTMENTS, Barcelona

The apartments sit in a quiet, safe residential area of Poblenou, away from the busiest tourist crowds but with excellent connectivity: the metro station (approx. 100 m) and tram stop provide direct routes to the city centre, Sagrada Familia, and the airport (El Prat is 16 km away). Bogatell Beach is a pleasant 17-minute walk, and the Rambla Poblenou offers numerous cafes, bars, and supermarkets within a few minutes. Port Olimpic is 2 km distant, while the Gothic Quarter and Arc de Triomf are within a 20-30 minute walk or short metro ride. The beachfront promenade is also easily reachable on foot.

Each apartment is self-contained with a separate living area, dining table, and a kitchen equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, kitchenware, and a washing machine. Bedrooms offer comfortable beds (some with excellent mattress quality), and a sofa bed is available in the living area. All units feature air conditioning, heating, soundproof walls, a flat-screen TV, and a private entrance with digital key lock. Select apartments include a private balcony or terrace with outdoor furniture; ground-floor units may have less natural light. The 2- and 3-bedroom apartments include two bathrooms, making them well-suited for groups or families. Soundproofing is generally effective, though internal noise from the building corridor or street-facing windows can be noticeable in certain apartments. Apartment sizes are generous, with spacious living areas and sufficient storage.

The apartments do not have a restaurant or bar, but the kitchen is stocked with cookware, utensils, a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, and a washing machine, making it easy to prepare meals. The Poblenou neighbourhood is known for its dining scene: Catacroquet, Timesburg Poblenou, and Can Dende are all within 0.5 km, and there are multiple cafes and supermarkets (including a Mercadona a few minutes away) for groceries. Breakfast is not served on site; a coffee shop and bakery nearby offer morning options for those who prefer to eat out. The welcome pack often includes coffee pods and basic condiments.

The main leisure facility is a rooftop outdoor swimming pool (unheated, open daily 09:00-21:00, typically June-September) with a shallow end and partial views of the Barcelona skyline. The pool is shared among the building's 9-10 apartments and can feel small when busy. The surrounding sun terrace has loungers and outdoor furniture for relaxing. There is no spa, gym, or wellness centre on site. For active recreation, the beach and the surrounding area provide walking and cycling paths, and boating is available near Port Olimpic.
