HOSTAL FELIPE 2, Barcelona

The property sits in a safe, central neighbourhood with easy access to public transport: the Verdaguer metro and bus stops are within a 5-minute walk, and a tram line runs nearby. Major Gaudí landmarks such as Casa Mila and Casa Batlló on Passeig de Gràcia are less than 1 km away. Plaza de Catalunya and Las Ramblas are reachable in 20 minutes by metro. Sants Railway Station and Nord Bus Station are under 3 km away. The streets around hostal are lined with restaurants, cafés, and mini markets, making dining and shopping highly convenient.

Standard rooms are compact (as small as 8m2) and may have limited natural light, with some windows facing internal hallways rather than the outdoors. Rooms with a balcony offer street views and better ventilation. Bedding is provided, and daily housekeeping includes towel changes. Some rooms include a mini fridge and a safe. Bathroom amenities vary: private rooms include a hairdryer, while shared bathrooms also have a hairdryer available. Soundproofing is minimal, so noise from adjacent rooms, the old elevator, and street traffic can be audible. Rooms with shared bathrooms have a sink and shower in the room, with a toilet located in a common area. The property occupies upper floors of a Modernista building; an elevator is available but small and can be noisy.

The hostal does not offer meals or a breakfast buffet. However, the surrounding streets provide a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, and tapas bars, including Candelecho Charcoal Grill and Teoric Taverna Gastronomica located 0.3km away. For quick meals or snacks, several mini markets and bakeries are within a 5-minute walk. There is a shared common area with a microwave, fridge, and hot/cold water dispenser where guests can store and prepare simple food.
