The hostel is in a residential street, so overnight noise is low, but nearby bars and clubs are a 6-7 minute walk to the Reeperbahn. Hamburg Airport is 8 km away and accessible by public transport in about 50 minutes (bus + U-Bahn). The nearest bus stop is roughly 5 minutes' walk, and the nearby S-Bahn station (Hamburg-Altona) is about 3 km away, requiring a bus or 30-minute walk. The area is safe and has a cinema across the street, with plenty of restaurants and bars within a 10-minute walk. Public transport to the Barclay Card Arena takes about 30 minutes (including 10 minutes of walking).

Rooms are mixed-gender only; no female-only dorms are available. Some rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet, while others have shared facilities in the hallway (1 shower per 2 rooms). The beds are basic, with some reports of squeaky or older mattresses. Each bed has its own light, but only bottom bunks have a power outlet; top bunks have no outlet nearby. Lockers are provided free of charge (a €5 deposit for the lock is required). The rooms can feel small and crowded when all occupants are packing, and window curtain blackout is limited. Rooms facing the street can be noisier due to people gathering outside. Ventilation is limited and the rooms can become stuffy. There is no balcony. A couple of rooms have a private bathroom; most en-suite options are available for 6-bed rooms, while 8-bed rooms may share a separate bathroom.

The hostel does not have a restaurant. Breakfast can be booked upon check-in or when selecting a room. The coffee shop and bar on the ground floor serve affordable drinks and some food items (pizza available). The bar closes at 22:00. The shared kitchen is well-equipped with an induction stove, microwave, oven, fridge, and utensils, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. There are many restaurants, bars, and bakeries within a 5-10 minute walk, offering a wide variety of cuisines.

The hostel does not have a spa, swimming pool, or fitness facilities. The main leisure features are the on-site bar with affordable drinks, a sun terrace, and a pleasant inner courtyard with rose bushes. The neighbourhood provides easy walking access to the Reeperbahn nightlife district, several sports bars, and a cinema directly across the street.

WiFi is free throughout the building but may not reach the upper floors well. Daily housekeeping is included. A shared kitchen with cooking equipment and a breakfast bar area is open to all guests. Lockers for belongings are available free of charge (€5 lock deposit). The hostel has a bar that closes at 22:00 and a coffee shop. There is no business room or dedicated workspace; the kitchen and bar can be noisy for remote work. The lift is not available. The building has a letterbox for self-check-out and self-check-in. Luggage storage is not yet available, though lockers in rooms can hold bags. Laundry facilities are not provided. Payment is by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, UnionPay, EC-Card).
