HOTEL TERMINUS AM HAUPTBAHNHOF & ZOB, Hamburg

The hotel sits in central Hamburg, steps from the main railway station and the ZOB bus terminal, making it ideal for train and bus travellers. The U-Bahn platform is under two minutes on foot, providing direct access across the city, and the airport is reachable in about 30 minutes by train. The immediate street includes a concentration of restaurants, kebab shops, and small fruit stores within a short walk. The area around the station is busy, especially at night, with pedestrian activity that some travellers may find off-putting; women alone or families should be aware of the street atmosphere. The city centre and the Außenalster lake are within comfortable walking distance. The hotel is not well suited for those arriving by car, as parking is off-site, costs €20 per day, and cannot be reserved.

Breakfast is served as a buffet and includes meats, eggs, breads, cereal, and hot chocolate. The selection is modest but sufficient for a basic morning meal. Coffee is provided. No restaurant is on site, but the surrounding area has a high concentration of Turkish restaurants, pizza places, kebab shops, and other dining options within a two-minute walk from the hotel door. For self-catering, a Lidl supermarket is about 500 metres further down the street. No gluten-free options have been specifically confirmed as available.
