BAYMONT BY WYNDHAM MARION, Marion

The hotel sits on Interstate 57, making it a straightforward stop for road travelers. Several restaurants, including a Cracker Barrel, Huddle House, and 20's Hideout Steakhouse & Bar, are within walking distance. Shawnee National Forest is close by, offering outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, horseback riding, and hunting. The accessible on-site parking is free and does not require a reservation. While the location is convenient for highway travel, the property's walkability is limited to the immediately adjacent dining options; a car is practical for broader exploration.

A free hot breakfast is available daily, featuring options such as waffles, eggs, meat, yogurt, fresh fruit, and cereal. Vending machines with drinks and snacks are also on site. Breakfast quality and variety can vary; some service periods may offer a more basic selection of processed pastries and coffee. For travelers who prefer a more substantial or consistent meal, the nearby walkable restaurants - Cracker Barrel, Huddle House, and 20's Hideout Steakhouse & Bar - provide alternative dining within easy reach.

The property features an indoor swimming pool that is open throughout the year, alongside a fitness centre and an outdoor patio area. All wellness facilities are provided at no additional charge. The pool's operational reliability and heating have been noted as inconsistent, so confirming current pool availability directly with the hotel before arrival is recommended if pool use is a priority.

The hotel offers free high-speed Wi-Fi in all areas and free private on-site parking with accessible spaces and no reservation needed. A 24-hour front desk provides express check-in/check-out, safety deposit boxes, and luggage storage. The business centre has a public computer, printer, and fax machine; meeting/banquet facilities are available for an additional charge. Laundry service and a vending machine with drinks and snacks are on site. Pets are allowed in designated rooms but charges may apply. There is no restaurant, spa, or airport shuttle. For longer stays, housekeeping is provided only upon request.
