MARCO POLO MOTEL, Seattle

The motel sits on Aurora Avenue, a busy arterial road, so street-facing rooms experience traffic noise. The E Line bus stop is within a short walk, offering direct access to downtown, stadiums, and the waterfront. The surrounding Fremont neighborhood has restaurants and bars within walking distance. Major medical centers, Woodland Park Zoo (5 minutes), and Green Lake (2 km) are close by. Free parking makes it easy to explore by car, and secure cruise parking is available for $10/day.

The property is an older motel with dated furnishings. Rooms are generally spacious and clean, though maintenance and cleanliness can vary. Some rooms have worn carpets, old beds, and bathroom mold. Traffic noise is notable in street-facing rooms. Suites offer more space and are located in quieter areas. Family rooms have three beds. The motel is functional for budget stays but less suitable for those seeking modern comfort or a quiet night's sleep without a room away from the road.

There is no restaurant at the motel. Breakfast is not standard - it is only offered as an option for some bookings. The office provides complimentary coffee in the morning. The surrounding Fremont neighborhood has numerous cafés, bars, and restaurants within a short walk, including Paseo and Cafe Vita. Guests planning meals will find several options close by, but the motel itself does not have dining facilities.

The motel has no swimming pool, spa, or fitness center. Guests looking for leisure activities can walk or drive to Green Lake park (2 km) for jogging, walking, and water activities, or visit Woodland Park Zoo just 5 minutes away by car.
