BEACHTRAIL LODGING, Clearwater Beach

The beach is a block and a half away via a crosswalk, with dozens of restaurants and bars within a few minutes' walk. Indian Rocks Beach is a 1-minute walk. John's Pass is 13 km away, Pier 60 is 13 km, and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport is 18 km. The Pinellas bike trail is about 5 km east, easily reached by bike or a short drive. Free on-site parking avoids the need for a car transfer, but no airport shuttle is available.

Units range from studios to two-bedroom apartments, all on the ground floor except Apartment 2 (upstairs). Each includes a private bathroom (some with walk-in shower and bath), a fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, kitchenware), air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV with cable, and a washing machine/dryer. Select units have a terrace or balcony with garden or intracoastal views. Transport items like a beach cart, chairs, and umbrellas are provided. The accommodation feels clean, well-maintained, and comfortably sized for 3-4 people. Road-facing units may have some noise from a building site across the road.

There is no restaurant or breakfast on site. Each apartment has a kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and cookware, allowing self-catering. Coffee makers (Keurig on request) and electric kettles are available. The outdoor seating area on the porch or by the water is ideal for al fresco meals. Dozens of restaurants and bars are within a short walk, including Los Mexicanos, JD's Restaurant & Lounge, Crabby Bill's, and Slyce, all 0.3-0.5 km away.

The beach is 200 steps away, and free sun loungers, beach chairs, and umbrellas are provided. A water park is a block away at the Holiday Inn (not part of the property). Activities available nearby (some at additional charge) include cycling, canoeing, fishing, snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, golf (within 3 km), and mini golf. A small intracoastal park next door has a sandy volleyball court and docks for fishing. Board games are available for family entertainment. No swimming pool or spa is on site.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Parking is free and private, no reservation needed. Laundry is free but limited to before 10:00 and after 16:00. Check-in is private and express, with customized entry instructions after booking. Safety deposit boxes, fire extinguishers, and smoke alarms are provided. Pets are allowed on request (fee applies). A pet basket and bowls are available. The property has a strict non-smoking policy inside, with designated outdoor smoking areas. The host is known for professional, helpful communication and clear instructions.
