COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT COLUMBIA NORTHEAST/FORT JACKSON AREA, Columbia

Located off Interstate 77 in Killian, the hotel sits directly across from Providence Hospital Northeast and is a convenient choice for those visiting Fort Jackson or nearby medical facilities. Robert Mills House and Gardens and the Columbia Museum of Art are each 15 km away. The property is in an area with multiple affordable dining and shopping options within a short drive. The location offers easy highway access for north-south travel, making it a practical stop for road trips. Note that no airport shuttle is available, so a car or rideshare is needed for airport transfers.

Guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, and free Wi-Fi. Room types include King and Double Queen configurations; three King Suites offer a separate bedroom. The bathrooms feature a split layout with the toilet and shower behind a separate door from the vanity, which is in the main room area - a design that allows one person to shower while another uses the sink. A microwave can be requested at no charge or used in the on-site Market. The overall decor is modern, though some furniture shows signs of wear. For quieter stays, rooms away from the highway and the bistro area are a better choice.

The Courtyard Bistro is the property's dining hub, open for breakfast with varying hours: weekday service runs 06:00-10:00, Saturday 07:00-11:00, and Sunday 07:00-11:30. Breakfast is à la carte and costs approximately $20 per person; it is not complimentary but selections like the egg-white frittata, French toast, and turkey cheddar croissant sandwich have been well received. In the evening, the Bistro offers a menu of burgers, flatbreads, and salads along with cocktails and wine. The lounge area includes an outdoor fireplace and seating, and there is a coffee house on site for Starbucks beverages throughout the day.

The hotel provides free on-site parking without the need for a reservation, and accessible and van-accessible parking spots are available. Wi-Fi is free in all areas. Services include a 24-hour front desk with concierge, express check-in/out, and an ATM on site. The business centre is accessible, and meeting/banquet facilities and fax/photocopying are available for an additional charge. Laundry and dry cleaning services are offered at an extra cost. Security features include CCTV, key card access, and safety deposit boxes. The property is fully accessible with elevators, accessible routes, roll-in showers, grab rails, lowered fixtures, and hearing-accessible rooms/kits. Pets are not allowed, but service animals are welcome. A minimarket and vending machines for snacks and drinks are on site. The hotel is 100% non-smoking.
