BEAUTIFUL DUTCHHOUSE CENTRUM, Amsterdam

The property sits on a street-level door between shops near Damrak, making it ideal for exploring central attractions on foot. Amsterdam Central Station is within a 7-minute walk, providing direct rail connections from Schiphol Airport (16 km) and onward services. Major landmarks such as Royal Palace Amsterdam (400 metres), Museum Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder (500 metres), and the Rembrandt House (14-minute walk) are all easily walkable. Several tram and metro stops are nearby for trips to the Dutch National Opera & Ballet (2 km) or A'DAM Lookout (9 km). Numerous restaurants, including Omg Burger and several steakhouses, are within a 3-minute walk. For those arriving by car, note that there is no on-site parking; use public transport or park in one of the city's public garages.

Each room is compact but contains a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries, a coffee machine, a refrigerator, and a flat-screen TV. Parquet floors, heating, and a wardrobe are standard. One room includes a private terrace accessible via a window (request this at booking if needed). All rooms are located within a shared apartment with a common kitchen and corridor; you will have your own private room and bathroom but share the living spaces with other guests. The rooms are accessed via steep, narrow stairs with several steps - this is typical of Amsterdam canal houses and may not suit those with reduced mobility. Windows in some rooms face an internal courtyard, which tends to be quieter, while others face the street or an enclosed patio.

The property provides a simple breakfast arrangement with hot drinks and pastries placed in the room - suitable for a light start before heading out. For a fuller meal, the shared kitchen allows guests to prepare their own breakfast or snacks. More than a dozen restaurants are within a 3-minute walk, including Omg Burger, Humphrey's Amsterdam, Angus American Steakhouse, and several Indian and steakhouse options. The minimarket on site can stock basic groceries.

One room has a private terrace - a small outdoor space accessible via the window - ideal for fresh air or smoking. The property also houses a barber/beauty shop on site, providing convenient grooming services. For broader leisure, boating is available in the surrounding canals and the A'DAM Lookout (9 km) offers panoramic city views.

WiFi is free throughout the property and works reliably in all areas. Express check-in/check-out is included at no extra cost. Luggage storage is free and available if you arrive before check-in or after check-out. A minimarket on site sells basic food and toiletries. Daily housekeeping is offered at an additional charge - you can request it at the property. Other paid services include grocery deliveries, ironing, and laundry. The property also has a barber/beauty shop on site. There is no reception desk; all communication with the host is handled via phone or messaging. Check-in is by prior arrangement, so confirm arrival time in advance.
