BEST WESTERN HOTEL HAMBURG INTERNATIONAL, Hamburg

The U-Bahn station (U2 line) is roughly 200-500 metres away, putting the city centre within a 10-15 minute journey. Hamburg Central Station is 4 km away, and the airport is 11 km. Popular attractions such as Inner Alster Lake and Miniatur Wunderland are easily accessible via public transport. For drivers, the hotel offers on-site parking (€10/day) as well as a parking garage with a 3.5-metre height restriction. A Lidl supermarket, several restaurants, and cafés are within a short walk. The surrounding area is practical for car-free exploration, though the immediate neighbourhood is not a central tourist district.

All accommodation includes a private bathroom (bath or shower and hairdryer), free toiletries, heating, and a tea/coffee maker. Some rooms have balconies. Family rooms and suites offer more space, with some triple rooms described as generously sized. The hotel has a retro, dated feel in many areas, though bathrooms have often been renovated. Rooms can be compact, especially single rooms. Noise levels can be high in street-facing rooms due to traffic, and rooms on the 4th floor can become very hot in summer as there is no air conditioning. Carpets are present and some have been noted as stained, but overall cleanliness is generally reported as acceptable. The lift only serves floors 1-3; the 4th floor rooms are accessed via stairs.

Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 11:00 on weekends, with a continental-style buffet that includes bread, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, juice, and hot drinks. The option to make fresh waffles is a popular feature. The buffet is generally described as good and varied for a 3-star property. The on-site bar is available but may have limited opening hours; there is no restaurant for lunch or dinner. Several restaurants and a supermarket are within walking distance for alternative meal options.
