Travellers arriving alone or with children may find evening movements uncomfortable. Daytime access works well for exploring the city.

Rooms are functional and dated, with worn carpets in some areas and ageing fixtures. Most units have a private bathroom with shower, but some budget rooms include only a washbasin with shared toilets and showers in the hallway. The family room (3 beds) and quadruple room (2 beds) come with soundproof walls, a wardrobe, safe, flat-screen TV, and private bathroom. Some double beds are composed of two single beds pushed together and are accessible from one side only. Rooms away from the street tend to be quieter; courtyard-facing rooms are peaceful but receive little natural light.
