BEST WESTERN AIRPORT INN, Phoenix

Renovated units feature wood-style flooring and updated bathrooms with walk-in showers or tub/showers, while older sections retain carpet and more dated decor. Room sizes range from double-bed to king-bed configurations, with some rooms offering a sitting area or work desk. The air conditioning in some rooms is an older-style unit that is loud but effective at cooling; newer A/C systems are quieter. Noise is the most recurring consideration: rooms facing the freeway or directly under the flight path experience significant aircraft and road noise, especially before 10:30 PM. The property provides earplugs in each room. Pillows and mattresses receive mixed assessments - some find them comfortable, others describe pillows as lumpy or overly firm and beds as soft. All rooms include a refrigerator, tea/coffee maker, iron/ironing board, and a flat-screen TV with cable/satellite channels. Some units have a microwave; if a microwave is required, confirm availability at booking. Certain room categories have a shared bathroom; private-bathroom rooms are available.

Breakfast is available for purchase and includes hot items such as eggs, bacon, toast, waffles, and fresh fruit, as well as continental options like pastries and yogurt. When breakfast is not included in the rate, a light complimentary grab-and-go bag (banana, muffin, granola bar, bottled water) is provided in the lobby for early departures. The restaurant's dinner menu features American classics such as burgers, Reuben sandwiches, onion rings, and salads, with a full bar serving cocktails and wine. Dinner service ends by approximately 21:00 (9 PM), so late arrivals may need to plan for an alternative meal. The restaurant is open seven days a week. The bar area provides a casual atmosphere for watching sports on TV. No other dining or grocery options exist within walking distance, so the on-site restaurant is the primary meal option for guests without a car.

The outdoor pool is a lap pool, smaller than a typical recreational-style hotel pool, and is open until 22:00 (10 PM). The hot tub is operational only in the evening and provides strong jet pressure for a therapeutic soak. The sauna, separate for men and women, is available and comes with large towels provided on site. The pool area has seating and tables, but no umbrellas for shade, so direct sun exposure can be intense during Phoenix's hot months. The pool and hot tub are cleaned regularly, though occasional leaf debris may affect the pool surface. A fitness center is also on site with basic exercise equipment. For those seeking a quiet, leisurely afternoon or a cool-down after a flight, the pool and hot tub area serve as a functional amenity, though it is not a large resort-style facility.

The airport shuttle operates from early morning until 10:30 PM and requires a call from the airport to arrange pick-up; it runs approximately every 30 minutes. The shuttle is free and also serves the rental car return center. Guests arriving after 10:30 PM will need to arrange their own transportation (e.g., taxi or rideshare, costing roughly $13). The property has a 24-hour front desk for late check-in. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and public areas. A business center with a computer and printer allows guests to check in for flights and print boarding passes. Coin-operated laundry machines are on site. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. The on-site parking is free and includes long-term parking for guests traveling from the airport. The hotel is non-smoking throughout. Check-in requires a credit card for the full stay amount at the time of arrival.
