BORGO LA TORRE ALLE TOLFE, Siena

The property is located in the hills about 4-5 km from Siena's historic centre, reachable by car or taxi in approximately 10 minutes (taxi fare around €15). The estate is a working farm surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, offering direct views toward Siena. Public transport does not serve the property, so a car or taxi is essential for visiting Siena. Walking to Siena is possible but takes about an hour each way with steep hills. Florence Airport is 76 km away, and the nearest train station is in Siena.

The family-friendly restaurant, La Torre alle Tolfe, serves Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available on request. Dietary preferences (e.g. vegan) should be communicated in advance for better preparation. A pizza night is held on occasion. Breakfast is a buffet with fresh pastries, cheese, fruits, juices, and hot drinks, plus items such as locally made bread, jams, and eggs from the farm's own chickens. Breakfast costs €15 per person and is not included. The restaurant has received praise for its food quality and views, but service can be slow and disorganised during busy periods. A welcome drink is offered, and wine/champagne and kids' meals are available for an extra charge. Packed lunches can also be prepared.

The outdoor swimming pool is open from mid-May to late September (weather permitting), daily from 08:30 to 20:00. The pool area features sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and a pool with a view over the Tuscan countryside. On-site wellness options include back, couples, and full body massages (additional charge), plus free yoga classes that can be arranged in advance. Free tennis courts, table tennis, and billiards are available. Bicycle rental, horse riding, hiking, and walking tours can be arranged for an extra charge. The property also offers themed dinner nights, live music, and cooking classes. The peaceful setting and well-maintained grounds provide a relaxing environment for leisure.
