BOWER HOUSE, London

The Bower House sits in a calm, tree-lined part of Pimlico, just under a ten-minute walk from Victoria Train Station, Victoria Underground Station, and Victoria Coach Station. This central base puts major attractions within easy reach: Buckingham Palace is an 18-minute walk, and Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, and Big Ben can be reached on foot in about 20-25 minutes. The area itself is well-served with cafés, pubs, and restaurants on the surrounding streets, and a supermarket is a short walk away. London City Airport is 17 km from the hotel; for Heathrow, take the Heathrow Express to Paddington then the Circle line to Victoria.

The accommodation includes single, double, and family rooms, each with a private bathroom. A small number of basement rooms can be configured with two single beds. Room sizes vary: the compact Pimlico Cosy room is best for one person, while other rooms offer more space, with some family suites comprising two separate bedrooms. The building is historic, so rooms have individual character - some feature high ceilings, roll-top baths, and original fireplaces. Soundproofing between rooms and floors is limited, and road-facing rooms can pick up street noise. Many rooms have a fan available, but there is no air conditioning. Some attic and basement rooms receive less natural light. Decor is generally clean and well-maintained, though a few rooms show signs of age.

Wellness and leisure options at the property are limited. The Bower House provides movie nights for an additional charge, but there are no spa, pool, sauna, or gym facilities on site. For leisure activities, the central location gives easy access to London's parks (St James's Park is a 15-minute walk), museums, theatres, and all major attractions.

Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the building. The main reception and all services operate from the nearby sister hotel (Georgian House Hotel), which is staffed 24/7 and handles check-in, check-out, luggage storage, and concierge assistance. Express check-in and check-out are available. The front desk can arrange airport taxis and will hold luggage before check-in and after check-out at no charge. Additional services include laundry, ironing equipment in-room, and meeting/banquet facilities (for a fee). The building is secured with CCTV, fire alarms, smoke alarms, and key-card access. Accessible parking is available on nearby streets, free of charge but not reservable.
