The hostel sits at the northern edge of the Strip, a short walk from the Stratosphere and the Arts District. The nearest grocery store (Albertsons) is about a 15-minute walk; a convenience store is two minutes away. The Deuce bus stop (running the full length of the Strip) is one minute away, and bus #108 from the airport drops you about three blocks from the property. Parking is available on site for US$5/day but the lot is in an area with a visible homeless presence, so leave nothing valuable in the car. The immediate neighbourhood can feel sketchy, especially at night, and a number of long-term residents and street-involved individuals are often around the perimeter. For daytime exploring, the hostel's own enclosed courtyard provides a secure oasis to retreat to.

Rooms are housed in individual bungalows arranged around a central courtyard. Each dorm bunk is fitted with a privacy curtain, individual reading light, and an outlet. A free locker is provided in each room, but you need your own lock. The private rooms are for one person (extra person +$7.80/night) and include a private bathroom with a walk-in shower; otherwise, all dorms have a shared bathroom within the unit. Air conditioning is centrally controlled - you cannot adjust the temperature in your room. Some rooms are very dark and can feel cramped with 3-tier bunk beds and limited space to sit or change. Bed frames may squeak, and mattresses are basic coil style. Daily housekeeping is included, but the thoroughness of bathroom cleaning varies noticeably between rooms. Rooms without windows or adequate ventilation can develop a musty smell; the female-only dorm is often quieter and better maintained.

Guests can cook their own meals in the shared kitchen (stove, refrigerator, oven, kettle, cookware) and use the outdoor BBQ with picnic tables. Coffee and tea are offered for free. Several restaurants are within a 0.5 km walk, including Ocha Thai Cuisine, Casa Don Juan, Tacotarian, Cornish Pasty Co, and Jammyland. Breakfast is not included or available on site, so plan to supply your own or eat at a nearby café. The kitchen can be crowded during peak times and cleanliness of shared cookware is inconsistent. Labelling personal food with your name and checkout date is recommended, especially if you store items in the communal refrigerator.

The outdoor bungalow courtyard is a secure, enclosed space where travellers can relax, socialise, or sunbathe. Free activities include billiards, karaoke, movie nights, board games, and a games room. During pool season (April-October), the hostel organizes daily club crawls with discounted tickets to the biggest day clubs on the Strip. Sporadic nature day tours (every 1-2 weeks) and nightly club crawls to the Strip's biggest parties are also arranged. There is no pool, spa, or gym on site. The courtyard can become dominated by long-term residents smoking and drinking during the day, which may not suit everyone.

The hostel operates with reception hours from about 8 AM to midnight (1 AM on request). There is no 24-hour front desk or emergency contact number. Housekeeping cleans rooms daily, but bathroom deep-cleaning is inconsistent. Laundry is available for a small fee. Luggage storage is free on the day of arrival and departure until 9 PM (US$5/night if left longer). A deposit of US$10 (US$40 without proof of international travel) is taken at check-in and refunded at check-out. Payment is by debit/credit card only - no cash. Guests must present a valid ID and a card in their own name. The maximum continuous stay is 27 days. Lockers are free; locks can be rented for US$6 (or bring your own). Towels rent for US$1. No shuttle or airport transfer is available - take bus #108 from the airport terminal. The property is adults only and non-smoking, but a designated outdoor smoking area allows cannabis use.
