The Carriage House sits between Planet Hollywood and MGM Grand, about a two-block walk to the Strip. Bally's/Paris Las Vegas Monorail Station is a five-minute walk away, providing quick rail access along the entire Strip. McCarran International Airport is 5 km away - a flat $23 taxi fare (Zone 2) or a short ride-share trip. The hotel is set back from the main boulevard, so it avoids the constant crowds and noise typical of Strip-front properties. The immediate area includes a range of dining options within 0.5 km: Pampas Las Vegas, Oyster Bay Seafood and Wine Bar, Nacho Daddy, Spice Market Buffet, and others. University of Nevada, Las Vegas is an eight-minute drive, and the Las Vegas Convention Center is also nearby. Because the hotel is positioned off the Strip, it is walkable for most major attractions, but the distances between casinos can be deceptive - plan 15-20 minutes to reach the Bellagio fountains on foot.

The Carriage House offers a variety of suites, from one-bedroom to two-bedroom configurations. Each suite includes a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and all necessary cookware, dishes, and utensils. Rooms are notably spacious - the one-bedroom suites provide a king-sized bed, a sofa bed (folds out to a full-size bed), a separate living area with dining table, and a private bathroom with either a walk-in shower or a bathtub. Two-bedroom suites offer two bathrooms and a full kitchen. In-suite amenities include a flat-screen cable TV with DVD player, free in-room safe, ironing facilities, tea and coffee maker, air conditioning, and free toiletries. No rooms have balconies, but higher-floor suites at the ends of the building receive more natural light. Sound insulation between rooms and from outside can be inconsistent - rooms facing the street or adjacent to internal connecting doors may be noisier, so light sleepers should request a quieter interior-facing or high-floor unit. The property is all non-smoking, and daily housekeeping is provided.

The Carriage House does not have a restaurant, café, or bar. Each suite includes a full kitchen (or kitchenette) with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and a full set of cookware, dishes, and utensils - ideal for preparing meals and avoiding the high cost of eating out. A minimarket is on site, and a grocery delivery service can be arranged for stocking the kitchen. In the lobby, complimentary coffee and tea are available until 13:00. The surrounding area offers a wide range of restaurants within a five-minute walk: Pampas Las Vegas (0.5 km), Oyster Bay Seafood and Wine Bar, Nacho Daddy, Ben & Jerry's, and the Spice Market Buffet at the adjacent Miracle Mile Shops. For those who prefer not to cook, this concentration of dining makes it easy to eat out without going far.

The hotel features an outdoor heated swimming pool (30.0 °C year-round) open from 8:00 to 22:00, with a shallow end, fence around the pool, and pool/beach towels provided. The pool area may close for maintenance during certain periods (e.g., January-February, mid-December); during closures, an arrangement with the neighboring Marriott allows access to their pool, about a five-minute walk away. A hot tub/jacuzzi is located adjacent to the pool. The fitness centre is free to use and includes cardio equipment and hand weights. Tennis court access is available on site, and tennis equipment can be rented for an additional charge. A golf course is located within 3 km (additional charge applies). The outdoor area also includes a picnic area with outdoor furniture. The absence of a casino and the quieter setting means the pool and leisure areas are typically less crowded than at larger Strip resorts.
