CA' MONTEGGIA GUEST HOUSE, Milan

The guest house sits in a quiet courtyard off a side street, yet the Duomo is less than a 10-minute walk, and major attractions such as the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Sforza Castle are within walking distance. Missori Metro Stop (5 minutes walk) and Duomo Metro Stop (600 metres) give direct rail access across the city and to Milano Centrale station. A mini supermarket and several restaurants and bars are steps away. The central location is walkable for most sightseeing, making a car unnecessary for city exploration.

Rooms are individually styled and set in a historic building. The double room on the ground floor is the only one with step-free access; the remaining four rooms are on the first floor without a lift. Suite 5 has five bedrooms with five private bathrooms and the option of an extra bed in the largest room. Street-facing rooms overlook via Sant'Antonio, while courtyard-facing rooms are quieter. All rooms have soundproof walls, a safety deposit box, and a bathroom with either bath or shower, free toiletries and hairdryer. No rooms have a balcony.

The breakfast is a freshly prepared continental/Italian spread including pastries, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit, juice, and freshly brewed coffee. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available on request. The buffet is laid out in a cosy breakfast room and has been noted for its quality and good value. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but a snack bar offers packed lunches and in-room breakfast is also possible. Numerous cafés and restaurants are within a short walk.

WiFi is available in all areas for free. Luggage storage is included and you can collect keys to re-enter after check-out. Daily housekeeping is complimentary; ironing service and laundry are available for an extra charge. The airport shuttle can be arranged for a fee (approx. 90 € one way to Malpensa). A paid shuttle service and public transport tickets are also available. The property has CCTV, fire extinguishers and key-card security. Pets are allowed on request. No lift exists.
