HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & SUITES ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER AREA BY IHG, Anaheim

The hotel is about 2 km (2 km) from the Anaheim Convention Center and a 15-minute walk to the Disneyland security checkpoint. The Toy Story parking lot across the street offers free shuttles to the Disney parks. Anaheim GardenWalk, with Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, and other dining, is steps away. Major attractions like Knott's Berry Farm, Angel Stadium, and Huntington Beach are a short drive. John Wayne Airport is 19 km away, Los Angeles International 55 km. Walking to Disneyland is feasible and often quicker than waiting for the shuttle.

Rooms are two-room suites with a door between the bedroom and living area, offering privacy. Beds include king or double sizes, with the living area containing a sofa bed. Each suite has air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, tea and coffee-making facilities, and ironing amenities. Balconies are not available. Some units have connecting doors. Sofa beds can be firm, and the separate living area works well for families. Rooms on higher floors tend to be quieter; road-facing rooms may pick up traffic noise. Overall, the layout is practical for groups but finish and cleanliness can vary.

Breakfast includes make-your-own waffles and pancakes, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, toast, bagels, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee. It is carb-heavy with limited protein. The breakfast area can get crowded; seating is limited, and food cannot be taken to rooms (drinks only). There is no on-site restaurant, but many dining options-including Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.-are a short walk across the street at Anaheim GardenWalk.

The pool area has a shallow end suitable for children and is adjacent to the parking garage, making it visible from outside. The hot tub is available but cleanliness has been inconsistent. The fitness centre is small with a few treadmills-equipment is limited and some machines may not function. Pool towels are available. The leisure area is best treated as a quick cool-down or warm-up spot rather than a full-fledged spa destination.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Parking is on-site but costs $20 per night plus tax, with reservation required; the lot has spaces for oversized vehicles. The hotel offers key card access and smoke alarms. Business services include a business centre with fax/photocopying, and Disneyland tickets are available at the front desk (subject to park reservation system). Housekeeping provides daily service; extra towels and pillows may require a trip to reception. A launderette is available for an additional charge, and the 24-hour front desk can assist with public transport tickets.
