CASA LIT BARCELONA, Barcelona

The hotel is situated at the edge of the Raval district, placing Las Ramblas and the Christopher Columbus statue just a 5-minute walk away. Drassanes and Paral*lel metro stations (Lines L3 and L2) are within 300 metres, providing direct routes to the city centre, Sants train station, and the airport (40 minutes by public transport, 20 minutes by taxi). The cruise port is a 10-minute taxi ride or a short walk. The immediate street contains a rehab centre and visible homelessness, with some drug-related activity, which can feel unsafe, particularly after dark. However, the main tourist areas and well-lit streets are reached within minutes. The location is highly walkable for most attractions, and the rooftop terrace offers city and sea views.

Breakfast is a buffet with a variety of hot and cold items such as eggs, bacon, pastries, bread, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, and cereals. Gluten-free options are available on request. Breakfast is served from 07:00 on weekdays and 07:30 on weekends, with the option to request a takeaway breakfast pack for early departures. The Little Bar (open 16:30-23:00 daily) serves Mediterranean lunch and a selection of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free dishes. The Rooftop bar offers dinner and cocktails in a modern setting with city views. A coffee house on site and a snack bar are also available, and the lobby has a coffee machine and vending machines for drinks and snacks operating 24/7. No room service is provided, and there are no in-room tea/coffee facilities.

The hotel's rooftop terrace offers city and sea views, outdoor furniture, and a sun terrace with free sun loungers and beach umbrellas. The shallow plunge pool (approximately 0.5 metres deep) is suitable for dipping feet or cooling off but not for swimming. A small bar on the rooftop serves drinks and snacks. There is no spa or wellness centre. The sun terrace and pool are typically open during warmer months; availability in October has been confirmed. The rooftop is a popular spot for sunset drinks and relaxation.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The 24-hour reception provides concierge services, tour desk, free city maps, and can arrange restaurant bookings, show tickets, and guided tours. Luggage storage is available via paid lockers (€1 per use, key deposit required; non-refundable). Two lifts serve the building (one may occasionally be out of service). Daily housekeeping is included, but sheets and towels are changed only upon request or every few days. Cots can be provided on request. The hotel has two wheelchair-accessible rooms and adapted bathrooms with grab rails. A business corner offers free fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet facilities for an additional charge. Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, key card access, and in-room safes. The property is non-smoking throughout. English is spoken by all staff.
