CASA PINCE, Barcelona

Barcelona El Prat Airport is 13 km from the hotel; the Aerobus from the airport stops at Plaça Catalunya, a 10-minute walk away. Sant Miquel Beach is 2 km distant. The surrounding Gothic Quarter streets are packed with restaurants, bars, and shops, and most major sights such as the Picasso Museum and Plaça Reial are within walking distance. The entrance is on a small alley off Carrer Ferran; taxis can drop off on the main street. While the area is very safe and lively, late-night noise from street activity can be heard, especially in rooms with balconies facing the street.

The restaurant focuses on reinterpreted Catalan and Mediterranean dishes using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients, with vegan options available. Breakfast (14€) is a buffet with continental, American, and hot options including eggs, pastries, fruits, and juice. Some breakfast service has been noted as inconsistent in timing and staff attentiveness. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner; a tasting menu is available and well-regarded. The bar serves wine and champagne, but last orders are early (no drinks after around 22:30). Numerous restaurants and cafés are within a short walk, offering additional dining variety.

The fitness centre provides basic equipment for a workout. The hotel organizes walking tours exploring the Gothic Quarter and surrounding areas (additional charge). There is a terrace with outdoor seating, and balconies are accessible (scaffolding removed as of April 2024). The central location allows easy access to all major sights, parks, and the beach (2 km). No pool or spa facilities are offered.

Daily housekeeping is complimentary; laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional fee. The tour desk can assist with taxis, transfers, and local recommendations. Reception is staffed until 23:00; after that, security handles check-in. Luggage storage is free; if on-site storage is full, staff will store bags at a nearby partner hotel. The property has a lift and toilet grab rails for accessibility. Cots can be provided for infants. No pets are allowed. Payment by major credit cards is accepted.
