GRENOBLE HOUSE, New Orleans

Grenoble House sits on a quiet street in the historic French Quarter, just one block from Bourbon Street's nightlife and a short walk to Canal Street's streetcar line for connections to the Garden District and the Mississippi River. The Ernest Morial Convention Centre and Mercedes-Benz Superdome are within about 2 km. Numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes are within 0.3-0.5 km. The area is compact and walkable, but there is no hotel shuttle; a nearby parking garage (one block away) costs $20-35/night. The streetcar is two blocks away and offers an easy way to reach Uptown attractions.

Each suite is designed as a self-contained apartment with a kitchen equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, and all cookware. Rooms are spacious and include air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV with cable, a tea and coffee maker, and a safety deposit box. Beds are exceptionally comfortable. Some suites have a spiral staircase to the sleeping area. Balcony options include courtyard-facing (rooms 201, 203, 204, 205, 207, 208, 301) or street-facing (202, 206); Grand King Suites provide street balconies. Two-bedroom suites with two bathrooms are available. Note: no elevator, so upper-floor rooms require climbing stairs. Soundproofing is effective, keeping rooms quiet despite the lively quarter.

There is no on-site dining facility. Breakfast is not served, and there is no bar or room service. Each suite includes a fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, oven, and cookware, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. A complimentary coffee station and bottled water are available in the lobby. Numerous restaurants are within a short walk, including Deja Vu Bar & Grill, Acme Oyster House, GW Fins, and Broussard's, all within 0.3-0.5 km. Local grocery stores such as Rouse's are also convenient for stocking the kitchen.

Internet access is free throughout the property. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. The hotel offers express check-in/out and private check-in. A safety deposit box is provided in each room. The front desk is staffed 24/7. Keys are traditional and must be left at reception when leaving; the front doors lock at night and entry is via doorbell. Parking is not on site; guests are directed to Premium Parking #194 one block away on Dauphine Street, costing $20-35 per night (reservations recommended). Pets are allowed on request with possible charges. No elevator; guests needing ground-floor rooms should request in advance. Accepted payment methods: Visa and MasterCard. For Uber/Lyft, typing "Grenoble House" in the search bar avoids mapping errors.
