Located on a quiet residential avenue in Coronado, one block from Orange Avenue and a 5-10 minute walk from Coronado Beach.

The lodge sits on Coronado Island, a peninsula connected to San Diego. It is a 5-minute walk to Coronado Beach and a 10-minute walk to the Hotel del Coronado. Orange Avenue, lined with shops, restaurants, cafés, and a supermarket, is one block away. A bike rental shop is two blocks from the lodge. Public transport options include the hop-on-hop-off bus stop and the Coronado Ferry across San Diego Bay to the downtown terminal. San Diego International Airport is 5 km away; the San Diego Convention Center is 3 km from the property.

Accommodation

Each of the 14 unique rooms is individually decorated and air-conditioned, with a flat-screen TV, mini-refrigerator, and free toiletries.

Most rooms have en-suite private bathrooms with either a bath/shower combination or a walk-in shower. Two double-queen rooms (rooms 7 and 12) have a private hall bathroom across the hall. All rooms feature air conditioning, free WiFi, and a coffee maker. The lodge has rooms with king beds (rooms 2-6), queen beds, twin beds, and double rooms. Some rooms accommodate up to 4 persons. Children 12 and under stay free. The property is a historic 1888 building with no lift; some rooms are on the first floor. No rooms have balconies.

A self-service continental breakfast is included, with fresh pastries, bagels, fruit, yogurt, a pancake machine, hard-boiled eggs, and coffee/tea available all day.

Breakfast items are available from the common area throughout the day-ideal for flexible schedules. A microwave is in the breakfast area. In the afternoon, freshly baked cookies are put out. Bottled water and snacks are always available. There is no restaurant on-site, but Orange Avenue, one block away, offers numerous dining options. A supermarket one block away supplies picnic supplies for the beach.
