Balboa Park is 5 km from the property. The closest bus stop is 60 metres away on 6th & Market, and a Blue Line trolley stop (Park & Market) is 650 metres distant. The 992 bus from San Diego International Airport (6 km) stops nearby. While the area is lively and full of nightlife, street noise can be significant; requesting a quiet room helps. Many paid parking lots are within a 2-minute walk, with metered street parking free on Sundays.

Accommodation options include private double rooms with either an ensuite or shared bathroom, private quad rooms (two bunk beds, sleeps up to 4), and 4-bed female or male dorms.
