CITY LONDON HOTEL, London

The hotel sits in a quiet residential area of Elephant & Castle, within easy reach of South Bank attractions. Elephant & Castle Underground (Bakerloo line) is a 5-minute walk, and Southwark Underground is 10 minutes on foot. Waterloo Station, with National Rail and Underground connections, is 15 minutes away. Key landmarks within a 20-minute walk include the London Eye, Tate Modern, Borough Market, and the Imperial War Museum (10 minutes). The Ministry of Sound nightclub is a 3-minute walk. A Tesco supermarket is adjacent, and several cafes and restaurants are within a 5-minute radius. The area is walkable to central sights, but car access is limited due to the lack of on-site parking.

Room types range from single rooms with shared bathrooms to Deluxe doubles and family ensuite rooms. Many rooms are described as compact, with limited storage; some lack a wardrobe or drawer space. Deluxe and several other room categories have private bathrooms with showers. A few rooms are windowless or on lower floors. Air conditioning is only present in Deluxe rooms; other rooms are equipped with a fan. Noise from hallways and neighbouring rooms is noticeable due to limited soundproofing. Complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, fresh fruit, and bottled water are replenished daily. The property has two lifts serving all floors.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and is a basic self-service continental buffet. Offerings typically include toast, croissants, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juice, and hot drinks. The breakfast room is located in the basement and can be cold; bringing a sweater is advisable. There is no on-site restaurant or bar for other meals. The surrounding area provides many dining options within a few minutes' walk, including the Duke of York pub, Paladar, and several cafes. A Tesco Express next door is convenient for snacks and drinks.

No wellness or leisure amenities are available on site. Guests seeking such facilities will need to explore options elsewhere in the city.
