The immediate area is packed with restaurants, bars and supermarkets - including a supermarket just two minutes away - making it convenient for picking up supplies. The location is a 20-30 minute walk from the football stadium and the beach, and the city centre's main shopping street (Calle Larios) is about two minutes on foot. The neighbourhood is generally safe, though like any busy central area, awareness of pickpockets is advisable at night. For cyclists, secure bike storage is available at 24-hour staffed bike parking locations within a 10-minute walk from the hostel.

All rooms feature air conditioning, a private entrance, tiled floors, and a private or shared bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Double rooms and single rooms may have shared bathrooms, while quadruple rooms, family rooms and most dormitories have private bathrooms. The private rooms are compact - some single pods measure around 5-9 m2 - and are designed as individual sleeping capsules with sliding doors for privacy. Sound insulation between rooms is limited; noise from hallway doors, neighbouring pods, and the street (especially when windows are open) can be significant. Light sleepers may benefit from the free earplugs provided at check-in. Beds are comfortable with two pillows, and each berth includes a privacy curtain or sliding door, a reading light, and a lockable drawer (operated by the electronic key card) for valuables. In dormitories, the bathrooms and showers are inside the room, which can create noise and limited privacy. Rooftop kitchen access is available, but there is no stove for cooking.
