The surrounding area has dozens of dining choices, including Denny's (0.5 km), Beach Break Cafe (0.5 km), and Aashirwad Indian Food (0.5 km), plus shopping and outlets within a short drive. Walking to Universal takes about 20-30 minutes along the main road. There is no airport shuttle - a taxi or rideshare from Orlando International Airport takes roughly 30 minutes. The on-site parking costs $15-$20 per night; be careful to use the correct hotel lot to avoid towing. For trips beyond Universal, a tram stop on International Drive is a short walk away and provides access to other city areas.

Rooms come with either one king or two queen beds, a private bathroom with a bath/shower combo, a hair dryer, and free toiletries. The 21st-floor superior rooms are the only ones with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering wide views of Orlando and the parks. Air conditioning, heating, a tea and coffee maker, a seating area, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services are standard. The rooms are notably spacious, but some units have worn carpet and dated decor. Windows do not open, so ventilation depends entirely on the AC, which can be noisy and occasionally struggle to cool the room. The outdoor swimming pool is heated, fenced, and open all year, with a pool bar serving drinks and light snacks. Sun loungers and beach umbrellas are provided, and towels are available. The pool is a popular spot for relaxing after a day at the parks. A free fitness centre with standard gym equipment is also on site. There is no spa or hot tub. For additional low-key leisure, mini golf and table tennis are available at an extra charge, and an outdoor fireplace with furniture creates a pleasant social space. The pool area stays open late, allowing an evening swim.
