The property is situated 5 km from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and 6 km from Union Station, making it practical for event-goers and train travellers. Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is 21 km away. The immediate area is a quiet residential neighbourhood with easy access to the Canal Street streetcar line, which provides direct service to the French Quarter and other downtown areas. City Park, with its museums and attractions, is within walking distance, and several restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store are nearby. Free street parking is available on site, making a car feasible, though the streetcar is often the preferred method for reaching the city centre without driving.

The property consists of 16 private studio apartments. Each unit includes a private bathroom (some with bathtubs, some with showers; one unit has a jacuzzi tub), air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a tea and coffee maker, a microwave, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a wardrobe, and a work desk. Rooms are generally spacious, but the specific unit assigned can vary - some are on the ground floor or basement with low ceilings and small windows, while others are on higher floors. The building has no elevator, and the property is a two-story house with a ground level. Both single-bed and two-bed configurations are available. Room assignments are made at check-in; you can request a preferred unit after booking, but it is not guaranteed. The building is generally quiet, and the shared lounge/TV area is available.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Free street parking is offered on site, which is unusual for central New Orleans. Laundry services are available for an additional charge. There is a shared lounge/TV area on the property. The property is self-managed with contactless entry via door codes; there is no front desk staff, so all communication is handled through the management company.
