The hotel sits 7 km from Savannah State University and 3 km from Hunter Army Airfield. It is 7 km to Forsyth Park and 32 km to Tybee Island beaches. Several restaurants and shops are within a 5-minute walk, including Jersey Mike's Subs, Duck Donuts, and Omelette House. A shopping centre is directly across the street. While the property is not within walking distance of the historic core, the free shuttle to the Visitor's Center and ample free parking make exploring downtown straightforward by car or shuttle. The area provides safe and convenient access to both city attractions and coastal destinations.

All rooms feature a 32-inch flat-screen cable TV, air conditioning, heating, and a private bathroom. Suites include additional living space with a sofa and desk. Some rooms have a sofa bed, but note that in certain suites the sofa bed is fixed in place and cannot be unfolded. Rooms may face the road or overlook the lobby; road-facing rooms may experience traffic noise, while lobby-facing rooms may hear hallway activity. For a quieter stay, request a room away from both. The property is older and shows signs of wear, but beds are consistently comfortable and pillows are excellent. Each unit includes a microwave and mini-fridge (no freezer). There are no balconies.
