Admiral's Inn sits on Butler Avenue, Tybee Island's main road, placing the beach one city block away (a 3- to 5-minute walk across the street). The Tybee pier, fishing pier, and beach entry at Tybrisa Street are within the same distance. More than eight restaurants, bars, and cafes are within a two-block radius, including breakfast spots like Sunrise Restaurant and Sunset Rise. Free on-site parking allows you to leave your car for the entire stay - paid street parking on Tybee is expensive. Savannah/Hilton Head Airport is 36 km away; no airport shuttle is offered.

All rooms are air-conditioned with parquet or vinyl floors, a sitting area, a small table with chairs, and an in-room coffee maker. Bathrooms include custom overhead rain showers (some with low pressure or dual heads), LED backlit mirrors, and quartz vanities. Each room has a private bathroom with a hairdryer, and most have a safety deposit box. Bed options include two queen beds or a single king bed (only two king rooms available - they book quickly). Rooms face internal corridors; no balconies or beach views. While recently renovated, some furniture (pleather headboards, chairs) shows peeling and wear, and soundproofing between rooms is limited. For a quieter stay, request a room on the rear side of the building. No elevator - ground-floor rooms are best for those with mobility needs.

Admiral's Inn offers no breakfast or restaurant services at present. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available in the lobby, along with free coffee and a filtered-water refill station. For meals, more than a dozen restaurants are within a two-block walk, including breakfast cafes (Sunrise Restaurant, Sunset Rise), seafood spots (StingRay's, Bernie's Oyster House), and casual bars (Doc's Bar). A small grocery is also nearby for self-catering supplies. Plan to eat out for all meals - the location makes it convenient.

The year-round outdoor swimming pool is heated (saltwater), fenced, and has a shallow end, pool cover, and sun loungers. Towels are provided at the pool. A poolside shower helps rinse off sand. The fitness centre is free and open 24/7, though equipment is limited and some machines may not be fully functional. There is no spa, hot tub, or pool bar. For additional leisure, the beach, pier, and shops are a short walk away. Fishing can be arranged off-site for an extra charge.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Free private parking is provided on site - one space per room, no reservation needed; extra parking is not sold. The 24-hour front desk can assist with late check-in, luggage storage, and local recommendations.
