COMFORT INN & SUITES CALGARY AIRPORT - NORTH, Calgary

The hotel sits adjacent to Deerfoot Trail, offering quick access to the airport and major routes. Calgary city centre is 18 km away, and Nose Hill Park and Country Hills Golf Course are a 13- and 11-minute drive respectively. The immediate area is industrial and car-dependent; there are no restaurants within easy walking distance, though a nearby hotel with dining is a 5-10 minute walk, and a minimarket is on-site for essentials. Public bus routes 100 and 300 connect to downtown from the airport, and the free hotel shuttle provides direct airport transfers. The property's location is praised for its ease of access to the airport and the CrossIron Mills outlet mall.

Rooms are furnished with a work desk, sofa, and a tea and coffee maker, plus a mini-fridge and microwave. The private bathrooms include a shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Some rooms feature a separate living area or a king bed with a pull-out sofa, and many offer city views. Highway-facing rooms can be notably noisy and are best avoided for lighter sleepers. While some suites offer generous space, others have been described as compact. Carpeting and overall fixtures have been noted as showing wear. There are no balconies or kitchenettes.

The breakfast buffet typically includes make-your-own pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, boiled eggs, bread, bagels, yogurt, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. The selection is consistent day-to-day and has been described as basic but sufficient for a quick start. For very early departures, a breakfast bag with a muffin, apple, juice, and yogurt can be arranged at the front desk. There is no on-site restaurant or bar for other meals; a snack bar and vending machines are available. A nearby hotel with dining is within a short walk, and several chain restaurants are a short drive away.

The indoor swimming pool is open from 8 AM to 10 PM, but time slots must be reserved at check-in (30 minutes per family). The hot tub is available but has occasionally been reported as closed for maintenance. The fitness centre offers a selection of cardio and strength equipment and is free for guests. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided around the pool area. Pool towels are available. The pool area has been described as needing better cleaning at times, but the facilities are generally a welcome bonus for travellers with layovers.

The complimentary airport shuttle runs 24 hours a day; guests call the hotel on arrival for pick-up from designated posts (#17 domestic, #37 international), and shuttles depart the hotel on the hour for the airport. Parking is free while staying, with a $5 per night fee for vehicles left during travel (park & fly). Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The business centre offers fax and photocopying, and meeting rooms can be booked for an additional charge. Guest laundry is coin-operated. A credit card is required at check-in. The front desk can accept package deliveries. Luggage storage is available for guests arriving before check-in or leaving after check-out.
